About the Role:
- Perform Systems Engineering activities related to IT & Engineering, including requirements definition, analysis & engineering, system analysis & design, interface & data architectures, systems integration, and system operational performance analysis.
- Ensure the logical & systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, & cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation & interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into HW & SW or engineering specifications.
- Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, & tools for the most efficient solution, including present & future capacity requirements.
- Manage large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, baseline & risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring & reporting.
- Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence.
- Experience with a broad range of system types: custom & COTS/GOTS HW/SW, & specialty engineering of exotic material/limited supply items. Experience in cloud-hosted development, I&T capability.
- Experience with CM/DM, HW/SW test & evaluation of classified systems.
- Experience implementing cyber solutions in existing DoD systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or adjacent fields and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience is required.
- Experience with RADAR and/or phased array antenna principles.
- Experience with requirements development, allocation, validation and verification required. Experience with requirements databases such as DOORs is required.
- Active secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
- Experience negotiating solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.).
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience.
- Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details.
