Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department at Addison Group. This individual will be responsible for managing the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs, as well as carrying out responsibilities in various functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries and issues, addressing and resolving employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary, and facilitating conflict resolution and providing guidance on disciplinary actions.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes, coordinating with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions, conducting background checks and reference checks, and developing, implementing, and monitoring training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Administer compensation and benefit plans, assist employees with benefit programs, and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • HRIS and Reporting: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights and support decision-making, and ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, monitor and address employee turnover rates, providing strategies for retention, and conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
