Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute expatriate HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational goals and comply with local legislation.
  • Administer all facets of the expatriate journey, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, relocation, performance evaluation, and repatriation.
  • Act as the main liaison for expatriates and their families, offering advice and assistance on HR issues, cultural assimilation, and everyday living.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams to guarantee the smooth integration and consistency of expatriate policies with local practices.
  • Evaluate and assess expatriate compensation and benefits packages, providing recommendations for modifications as necessary to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
  • Supervise the management of expatriate benefits, including housing, transportation, and educational support.
  • Facilitate visa and work permit applications, ensuring prompt and precise processing.
  • Design and implement training initiatives focused on expatriate management and cross-cultural understanding.
  • Partner with external entities, such as relocation services and legal consultants, to ensure comprehensive support for expatriates.
  • Remain informed about global HR trends, immigration regulations, and best practices concerning expatriate management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to expatriate management or international HR.
  • Thorough knowledge of expatriate compensation, benefits, and immigration procedures.
  • Strong grasp of cultural variances and the capability to manage cross-cultural teams effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for fostering strong relationships with expatriates and local teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and the capacity to address complex HR challenges with discretion and sensitivity.
