POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Operations Specialist will assist the Human Resources department in executing and managing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This position will emphasize comprehensive recruitment and ensure an efficient hiring process while performing general HR responsibilities.

The HR Operations Specialist is a proactive problem solver with outstanding communication abilities and a commitment to attracting and retaining exceptional talent.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to draw in high-quality candidates.
2. Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews, and selection processes.
3. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing requirements and offer insights on hiring choices.
4. Maintain and refresh the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment-related databases.
5. Conduct thorough background and reference checks.
6. Organize and engage in job fairs, career expos, and networking events to cultivate a talent pool.
7. Facilitate the onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring a welcoming and smooth integration into the organization.
8. Lead new employee orientation sessions to familiarize them with company policies, procedures, and culture.
9. Provide assistance to staff on HR-related inquiries, including conflict resolution, performance evaluation, and policy clarification.
10. Aid in the creation and execution of employee engagement programs.
11. Maintain employee records and guarantee data integrity within HR systems.
12. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations and laws.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capacity to manage confidential information with care.
- Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist capacity with substantial recruitment duties.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is advantageous.
