Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HR professional to provide comprehensive support for our Logistics team. This role involves assisting with employee relations, performance management, recruitment, candidate selection, onboarding, and fostering strategic business partnerships. Collaborate with the Total Rewards manager and the HR director to manage HR projects and administrative tasks effectively.

Engage with associates and management at regional distribution centers and the corporate office to communicate and facilitate various HR initiatives, policies, procedures, and compliance with legal standards.

Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations concerning employment and safety while embodying the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Total Rewards/Logistics director in implementing HR processes and enhancing associate relations and communications.
  • Support performance excellence discussions and management plans.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for relevant business units.
  • Provide guidance on compensation matters, ensuring alignment with the company’s compensation strategy.
  • Aid in training initiatives and individual development plans.
  • Collaborate with corporate department managers on workforce planning and future needs.
  • Gather data on current facility processes and develop improved methods with stakeholder input.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into project development and communicate project outcomes to ensure successful implementation.
  • Oversee HR department functions and support regional distribution and floral centers.
  • Deliver training for various leadership development programs and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with I9, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations.
  • Monitor the leave process to align with medical and worker compensation guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison with the Accounting Service Center to complete projects.
  • Oversee the Employment Tax Credit program to ensure effective implementation.
  • Travel as necessary to collaborate with corporate department managers on workforce planning.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience with HR compliance and government regulations.
  • PHR or SPHR certification.
  • Background in recruiting, training, coaching, employee relations, and compensation.
  • Familiarity with HR information and payroll systems.
