This role is critical in ensuring that the processes and systems uphold the exceptional standards of Cabinetworks Group's product line and meet customer expectations throughout the value chain. The position involves utilizing quality metrics to define, measure, analyze, and enhance processes. The aim is to continuously monitor and improve process capability, control plans, and audits by applying the principles and techniques of the Cabinetworks Operating System (COS) for effective problem-solving and opportunities for continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of the quality management system across the Cabinetworks Group value chain.
  • Provide training to staff on the relevant aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Develop systems that meet customer and third-party specifications and standards related to products and activities.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to assess current processes and any modifications.
  • Identify and implement robust quality control systems for corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and non-conformances to support product development and manufacturing.
  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality documentation and standards aligned with the Cabinetworks Operating System (COS).
  • Establish effective communication strategies to enhance awareness and address quality issues across the value chain.
  • Collaborate with Cabinetworks Corporate Quality on quality management systems and standards compliance.
  • Implement necessary changes to internal standards and monitor performance against these standards.
  • Work with the Senior Quality Assurance Manager to develop and achieve targets in line with policies and standards.
  • Proactively research and apply best-in-class quality practices.
  • Serve as a mentor in Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Quality Assurance Manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, quality, new product development, manufacturing, or regulatory environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 50%.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with Quality Systems, Six Sigma Methodology, Validation, and FMEA/Risk Management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Design Control, Risk Management, and Project Management.
  • Ability to coordinate multicultural teams and manage multiple activities with varying business and compliance drivers.
  • Competence in statistical data analysis and the ability to convey complex statistical information to leadership.
  • Experience in product auditing and familiarity with quality tools (e.g., pareto charts, histograms, flow charts).
  • Proficient in APQP/QFD and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 10 years of experience in the Quality Field.
  • Ability to align quality initiatives with customer and business value propositions.
  • ASQ Certification: CQE, CQM, CQA, CQT, CRE.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO-9001, ISO-14001, QS9000.
  • Experience with ANSI A161.1 standards.
  • ISO-9000 Lead Auditor Certificate.
  • Other relevant quality certifications.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
