Position Overview:
This position is a hands-on role focused on comprehending ETL/ELT testing requirements across various initiatives and executing comprehensive data testing.


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans and scripts to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.
- Create automated testing solutions for data validations and integrate these with DevOps pipelines for continuous regression testing.
- Assess the compliance of data flows and storage against established quality standards, while effectively communicating testing progress and results to stakeholders.

Core Competencies:
- Expertise in requirement analysis, test estimation, planning, design of test cases, and execution of ETL processes.
- Proficient in Data Testing, Data Migration, Data Transformations, and Data Quality Validation.
- Experience in testing ETL mappings from various sources such as Oracle and SQL Server into target tables using various transformations.
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data testing strategies and develop automation frameworks.


Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Great Expectations is preferred.
- Strong dataOps implementation experience and integration of QA automation with DevOps pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and Databricks notebooks.


Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 9+ years in software development and delivery, with 7+ years in ETL testing and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience with Snowflake and dbt, as well as building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in writing test automation scripts, preferably in Java.


Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $73,008 and $120,640, depending on various factors including experience and location.
