Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Lisi Automotive. The ideal candidate will have experience with various quality inspection tools and techniques to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Inspection: Perform first piece and in-process dimensional inspections to verify part correctness per standard procedures.
  • Quality Control Coordination: Coordinate tool corrections and adjustments with cross-functional teams to achieve part correctness.
  • Part Disposition: Quarantine and disposition parts, and participate in Material Review Board.
  • Receiving Inspection: Utilize precision measuring tools to assist in receiving inspection.
  • Machine Verification: Perform red-rabbit verification on inspection machinery.
  • Data Analysis: Compile data and enter into an End-Of-Shift Report.
  • Quality Studies: Participate in various quality studies and improvement initiatives.
  • Audits: Perform and participate in audits as assigned by Quality Manager, and report results.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor new QA inspectors, and train production operators on in-process inspection methods.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned by Quality Manager.
Requirements
  • Quality Inspection Experience: Prior experience in quality inspection.
  • Measurement Tools: Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.
  • Quality Control Software: Familiarity with vision system and CMM.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • GD&T Principles: Knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Data Analysis: Strong data analysis and manipulation skills.

While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to talk and hear, sit/stand for eight (8) hours. Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel or crouch. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Mathematical Skills

Should possess basic math skills, including ability to use gages, including micrometers, calipers and various sized plug gages.
