Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to become a vital part of our team at Lisi Automotive. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in quality inspection methodologies and tools to guarantee that our products uphold the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct initial and ongoing dimensional and visual inspections to confirm part accuracy according to established protocols.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tool corrections and adjustments to ensure part accuracy.

3. Manage the quarantine and disposition of parts and actively participate in the Material Review Board.

4. Employ precision measuring instruments to support receiving inspections.

5. Execute red-rabbit verification on inspection equipment.

6. Gather data and compile it into an End-Of-Shift Report.

7. Engage in various quality studies and improvement projects.

8. Participate in audits as assigned by the Quality Manager, including IATF, floor, internal, LPA, and dock audits, and communicate findings.

9. Mentor and train new Quality Assurance inspectors as necessary.

10. Educate production operators on in-process inspection techniques.

11. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.

12. Demonstrate knowledge and application of LEAP/5S and HSE standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience in quality inspection is essential.
  • Proficient in the use of calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with vision systems and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Strong analytical skills for data management.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position require the ability to communicate effectively, remain seated or standing for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Mathematical Skills

Basic mathematical skills are necessary, including the ability to utilize gauges such as micrometers, calipers, and various plug gauges.

Work Environment
