Serve as a primary technical authority on financial analysis, addressing issues, objectives, and specialized programs. Ensure adherence to government cost accounting standards and effective cost pool management.

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership regarding financial performance, strategic planning, and process enhancements. Direct financial monitoring, reporting, and analytical efforts to support Booz Allen's Capital Expenditure (Capex) Program and Global Workplace (GW) Real Estate Group. Act as a trusted advisor to identify financial risks and opportunities, offering insights and recommendations to mitigate cost impacts.

Guide an Associate in managing Capex and GW to formulate operational budgets for the Global Workplace and track performance throughout the fiscal year. Develop firmwide Capex and Depreciation & Amortization (D&A) plans while overseeing projects through ROI, submission, and approval stages. Assist clients in navigating routine processes and adhere to the established schedule for budget and forecasting updates, monthly and quarterly accruals, and fiscal year transitions.

Champion the preparation of monthly leadership reports, including Opex and Capex, delivering analyses of results against plans and previous forecasts. Advocate for financial processes, tools, and best practices. Drive improvements in processes and technology to enhance financial oversight efficiency. Collaborate with relevant Accounting, Financial Systems, and Compliance teams as necessary. Mentor a direct report, guiding their daily responsibilities and career development.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, including budget management, modeling, and reporting for senior management or clients.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and enhancing financial reports for senior-level stakeholders.
  • Proficient in presenting financial and operational results to executive management.
  • Strong skills in Excel, including formula utilization for financial reporting and modeling.
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools such as Hyperion, Workday, or Essbase.
  • Demonstrated analytical, presentation, and collaborative abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting comprehensive financial analyses.
  • Background in the government contracting sector.
  • Knowledge of federal cost accounting standards.
  • Experience supporting transformation initiatives within large organizations.
  • Understanding of accounting practices related to facilities or capital expenditure portfolios.
