Overview:
Allina Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive Mental Health and Addiction Services, ensuring a full spectrum of care that includes integration, specialized outpatient clinics, addiction treatment, co-occurring services, partial hospitalization, day treatment, and inpatient care. Our services are guided by clinical leadership in both psychiatry and psychology, collaborating with operational teams to enhance mental health care for our patients.
Position Highlights:
As a consult liaison psychiatrist at Allina Health, your role will involve delivering psychiatric care to individuals with intricate mental health needs during their medical admissions. You will work closely with the Mental Health & Addiction Service Line throughout the Allina Health network.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited medical school is required.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or equivalent training is mandatory.
- Must hold a valid medical license from the MN Board of Medical Practice and achieve psychiatric board certification within two years of hire.
- ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource certification is required upon hire.
- Possession of a Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate is necessary upon hire.
- Enrollment in the Prescription Monitoring Program is required upon hire.
- National Provider Identifier must be obtained upon hire.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work: Ability to lift weights up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
