Overview:

Allina Health provides a comprehensive Mental Health and Addiction Service Line that encompasses a full spectrum of care. This includes integrated services, specialized outpatient clinics, addiction treatment, co-occurring disorders services, partial hospitalization, day treatment, and inpatient care. The program is guided by both psychiatry and psychology clinical leadership, collaborating with operational teams to enhance mental health services for patients throughout Allina Health.

Role Description:

As a consulting liaison psychiatrist at Allina Health, your role will involve delivering psychiatric care to individuals with intricate mental health needs during their medical admissions. You will work closely with the Mental Health & Addiction Service Line across the Allina Health network.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or foreign equivalent from an accredited medical school is required.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program in Psychiatry or equivalent training is required.
  • Must possess a valid medical license from the MN Board of Medical Practice and achieve psychiatric board certification within two years of hire.
  • ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource certification is required upon hire.
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate is required upon hire.
  • Prescription Monitoring Program registration is required upon hire.
  • National Provider Identifier is required upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

Light Work:
Lifting weights up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
