Job Overview

Position: Automotive Sales Consultant

Reports to: Sales Manager

Role Summary:

  1. Engages in the sale or lease of new and pre-owned vehicles at a vehicle sales establishment.
  2. Possesses in-depth knowledge of current automotive offerings, including features, advantages, and competitive comparisons.
  3. Demonstrates vehicle features and functionality both in the showroom and during test drives.
  4. Presents pricing proposals to prospective buyers.
  5. Employs ethical and legal sales practices.
  6. Maintains up-to-date certifications as required by manufacturers.
  7. Adheres to all policies regarding customer confidentiality.
  8. Aims to meet monthly sales targets.
  9. Strives to achieve minimum Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) standards monthly.
  10. Ensures proper delivery of vehicles to customers.

Sales Responsibilities:

  1. Promotes products to potential clients through various communication methods, including phone calls, letters, and face-to-face interactions.
  2. Conducts follow-ups post-sale to guarantee customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  3. Follows the established sales system.
  4. Keeps accurate sales records using designated tracking software.
  5. Treats all customers with respect and professionalism, maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times.
  6. Complies with dealership policies regarding harassment and discrimination.
  7. Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Adheres to the prescribed dress code.
  9. Displays the company ID badge while on duty.
  10. Completes additional tasks as assigned.
