CommonSpirit Health is seeking an Inventory Technician to join our team. As an Inventory Technician, you will be responsible for managing inventory, including picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping, and receiving. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory, including picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping, and receiving
  • Ensure supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands
  • Process and present data clearly
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, summarizing analysis in reports with minimal supervision
  • Stay on task and meet deadlines
  • Keep abreast of, and comply with, internal standards and regulatory requirements regarding product recalls, product failures, and returns of outdated materials
  • Read, understand, and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position
  • Use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
Requirements
  • One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the purpose, functionality, and operation of automated ERP systems and processes (Lawson/Infor)
  • Knowledge of the standards, practices, resources, and tools applicable to inventory management, cost containment, and purchasing/procurement
  • Knowledge of general office principles, practices, systems, and equipment
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, FH procedures for the acquisition, inventory, and distribution of supplies/materials
