Responsibilities:


Utilizes an automated inventory management system to oversee the ordering, receiving, and stocking of medical supplies and equipment within the supply chain framework.

Ensures daily restocking of supplies and manages inventory rotation to maintain accurate stock levels, generating orders and requisitions as necessary.


Distributes medical supplies and equipment to various care areas, monitoring inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are available to support patient care.

Identifies cost-saving opportunities by adjusting par levels, reorder points, and minimizing holding costs.

Recognizes excess inventory, processes returns, and manages credits effectively.

Alerts supervisors regarding expired or slow-moving inventory.


Participates in the organization and validation of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials within the inventory management system.

Responsible for maintaining organized and clean stock locations, labeling bins, and managing requests for changes in par levels.

Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as required.


Collaborates with buyers and the Divisional Inventory Coordinator during product recalls to ensure timely removal of affected items.


Qualifications:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in supply chain management or a related field is required.
