CableCom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Warehouse Technician to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing supplies and materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and store all supplies and materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
- Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
- Conduct regular physical inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of fleet tools and equipment.
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
- Valid standard driver's license or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
This position requires the ability to work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise. The employee must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
