ONSITE ROLE
An organization is seeking an Inventory Planner to operate within a dynamic environment. This role requires the individual to be active both on the floor and at a workstation, facilitating the flow of inventory into the storage facility. The candidate should be prepared to spend approximately 80% of their time at a desk, meticulously tracking Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Flexibility in shift availability is preferred, although candidates who can commit to only one shift will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure data integrity so that all tools and processes function optimally.
- Oversee incoming shipments, including PO tracking and maintenance, fill rates, operational challenges, and vendor communications. Evaluate inventory status and SKU performance to ascertain inventory requirements.
- Implement a range of purchase order, stock, and vendor-related systems and reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of relevant experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or warehouse settings. They should demonstrate strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and proficient in business software, particularly Excel. The successful applicant must exhibit flexibility, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well in a team environment, and manage tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects. Availability for on-call work as necessary is also required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in a warehouse or inventory role utilizing an ERP system, preferably SAP, is advantageous.
