Commercial Insurance Underwriting Support Specialist at CIBA Insurance Services

CIBA Insurance Services, established in 1993, excels in providing extensive commercial coverage for property and liability risk management tailored to property owners and managers. We are currently seeking a proactive Commercial Insurance Underwriting Support Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting the Underwriter by facilitating the review, quotation, and binding of new submissions, alongside managing various administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Underwriter in the evaluation of new submissions
  • Assess and confirm the accuracy of applications
  • Generate insurance certificates and invoices for new accounts
  • Ensure precise data entry into our systems
  • Efficiently manage renewals and modifications
  • Process evidence of insurance for renewals and related invoices
  • Oversee changes and certificates for mortgagees

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience in commercial property and casualty insurance is beneficial
  • P&C license is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong data entry and analytical capabilities
  • Detail-oriented approach

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $40,000 - $50,000, based on experience
