The Data Center Engineering Availability team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to act as a pivotal technical resource and leader. This role involves overseeing extensive global projects and initiatives that significantly influence capacity delivery and availability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute large-scale, complex global engineering and operational programs that directly affect capacity delivery and availability for our customers.
  • Collaborate with and influence the direction of multiple engineering and operations teams both within and outside of AWS to deliver intricate cross-functional projects.
  • Mentor, train, and support the career development of team members.
  • Focus on team learning and development, enhancing both technical and soft skills such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
  • Develop, refine, and disseminate operational best practices across the region and with global peers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
