Position Summary:
Parsons Oman is on the lookout for a Senior Technical Program Manager who possesses a proven track record in steering technical excellence across product management, program execution, and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
Oversee the technical facets of product lifecycles, including the development and design of electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, both hardware and software.
Engage in gathering and analyzing requirements from industry stakeholders and end-users to formulate a technical roadmap and product strategy that culminates in market-leading offerings. - Program Execution:
Direct diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to fulfill program objectives within established timelines and budgets. Act as the primary liaison to clients and the executive team, providing updates and reports on project status. Ensure that program milestones are met and risks are effectively managed. - Business Development Support:
Innovate technical concepts and solutions for advanced systems across various technical domains (hardware, real-time software, signal processing, integration, and testing) and mission areas. Engage with client decision-makers to showcase our capabilities and shape future business opportunities. - Client Engagement:
Represent the organization and our offerings to key customer relationships. Provide necessary technical support to guarantee customer satisfaction and collaborate with technical teams to address issues and solutions. - Team Management:
Lead a geographically diverse engineering team, ensuring the production and delivery of a wide range of contractual deliverables. Manage costs, schedules, and performance across a variety of tasks executed by staff from multiple disciplines. - Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, analyzing customer budgets, required capabilities, current preferences, competitive landscapes, and strengths and weaknesses of incumbents.
Qualifications:
- Relevant B.S. degree (M.S. preferred) in engineering, engineering management, computer science, or a related field from an accredited institution. Directly relevant technical and operational experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3+ years in a Technical Program or Product Management role.
- Experience as a solutions architect for EW and/or software-centric products and programs.
- Adept at navigating a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, customers, and teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and successful execution of small, multi-disciplinary technical teams and projects.
- Proficient in writing technical reports and documentation.
- Experience in EW, SIGINT, DSP, and/or communications systems as a technical or programmatic leader.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Research and Development setting.
- Ability to operate independently while maintaining frequent communication and updates.
- Current Top Secret w/ SCI eligible Security Clearance.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Salary Range:
$117,000 - $210,600.00
