We are in search of a driven individual to oversee a team of specialized professionals focused on creating innovative laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and communication systems designed for space applications.
Your Responsibilities
The Senior Technical Program Manager will engage directly with clients to formulate system design concepts that align with project goals. The role may involve managing multiple projects simultaneously, encompassing both quick-turn initiatives and extensive, long-term endeavors. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining critical system performance metrics and ensuring requirements are effectively communicated to subsystems.
- Guiding engineering and production teams through the comprehensive development of active electro-optic systems.
- Delegating tasks to program team members while establishing and communicating project priorities and objectives.
- Keeping upper management informed about project status and any technical or workforce-related issues.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in design, construction, and testing.
- A minimum of 5 years of program management experience in electro-optic or laser systems.
- Experience in systems engineering.
- Strong communication and documentation capabilities.
- Exceptional skills in client interaction.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
