Role Overview

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team to achieve our sales objectives by delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as a mentor to foster strong relationships with our clientele and ensure effective store supervision to maintain optimal staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and surpass sales targets.
  • Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed while exemplifying best practices in sales and customer service.
  • Coach team members on customer service principles, celebrating their successes and addressing challenges.
  • Utilize training resources to enhance product knowledge and selling skills among the team.
  • Create a positive workplace environment where all associates are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Manage and resolve client service issues effectively, utilizing our client information reporting system.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop timely solutions.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail sales or management in a customer-focused environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate safety techniques.
  • Full-time associates should have flexible availability to meet business needs.
  • Part-time associates must be available for a minimum of two shifts on weekends and two during the week.
