Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversees a retail unit, concentrating on delivering a consistent and positive shopping experience for customers. Aids in supervising and managing all staff and operational functions, ensuring all retail and production processes, including pick-up, delivery, shipping, and quality control, are effectively executed. Acts as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, performing all essential functions typically handled by team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibits consultative behaviors to guarantee friendly, courteous, and expert service to all customers.
  • Assesses the efficiency and productivity of team members in fostering positive customer interactions.
  • Addresses customer disputes and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
  • Creates a customer-centric atmosphere throughout the store (including production, retail, self-service, and shipping) while maintaining a clean and professional environment.
  • Implements and manages a customer flow process to enhance service experience, ensuring quick response to customer needs and quality product delivery.
  • Facilitates training and development for team members during assigned shifts by monitoring objectives and providing constructive feedback.
  • Conducts interviews for potential hires, adhering to company hiring policies, and assists the Store Manager in the recruitment process.
  • Mentors and provides feedback to team members regarding their performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Maintains communication with the Store Lead Consultant and/or production team to ensure deadlines are met and quality checks are conducted.
  • Supervises shipping-related services and activities.
  • Responsible for daily communication with the Store Manager and team members regarding goals, performance metrics, customer concerns, and company initiatives.
  • Adheres to and enforces established company policies and procedures, maintaining a controlled environment.
  • Assists the Store Manager with payroll review and daily POS closeout.
  • Performs various administrative tasks as required, including scheduling, payroll management, training compliance, inventory control, and supply ordering.
  • Undertakes additional duties as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
  • Consistent ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Regular attendance and adherence to established business hours are required to support company operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY: This salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the starting salary for this role across various locations. If this position includes multiple levels, the salary information reflects the minimum and maximum for the respective job levels. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, market level, and other job-related factors. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

PAY: $24.65/Hr
