Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversees a retail unit, emphasizing the delivery of a consistent and positive customer journey. Aids in the management and supervision of all personnel and operational activities, ensuring all production and retail processes, including pick-up and delivery, shipping, and quality assurance, are effectively monitored and facilitated. Assumes responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The Assistant Retail Manager is expected to execute all functions typically performed by team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibits consultative behaviors to guarantee friendly, courteous, and expert service is provided to all customers.
  • Assesses the efficiency and productivity of team members in fostering positive customer interactions.
  • Addresses customer disputes and complaints as necessary to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Creates a customer-centric atmosphere in all areas of the store (production, retail, self-service, and shipping) and ensures the store maintains a clean and professional appearance.
  • Implements and manages a process for customer flow in the store to enhance service experience, ensuring customers' needs are met swiftly and quality products are provided.
  • Facilitates training and development of team members during assigned shifts by monitoring objectives and offering constructive feedback.
  • Conducts interviews for job candidates, adheres to all company hiring protocols, and assists the Store Manager with the recruitment of team members.
  • Mentors, advises, and provides feedback to team members regarding their performance and ensures compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Maintains communication with the Store Lead Consultant and/or production team to ensure deadlines are achieved and quality checks are conducted.
  • Supervises shipping-related services and activities.
  • Responsible for communication with the Store Manager and team members regarding daily/weekly/monthly objectives, performance metrics, customer concerns, and company initiatives.
  • Adheres to and enforces established company policies and procedures, maintaining a controlled environment.
  • Assists the Store Manager in reviewing and processing payroll and daily closure of point-of-sale systems.
  • Performs all other administrative tasks as required, including but not limited to scheduling, payroll management, training compliance, daily point-of-sale closure, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift, excluding meal and rest breaks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees consistently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members consistently.
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring collaboration and instruction consistently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under significant pressure consistently.
  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods consistently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision consistently.
  • Ability to report to work regularly and maintain established business hours to support operations; regular attendance may include physical presence at a location depending on the nature of the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and maximum. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $24.65/Hr
