Your Role

This position is strategically designed to spearhead our benefits initiatives while providing flexible support to our recruitment efforts and contributing to various projects within the HR department.

We seek an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong desire to assist and engage with both internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to embodying Royal's culture through exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the comprehensive administration of Royal's employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Lead the management of leave administration processes for FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave types, including accommodation requests under the ADA.
- Supervise the return-to-work procedures for employees post-leave.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests, adhering to legal requirements and best practices.
- Regularly evaluate benchmark data and recommend enhancements to our benefits offerings.
- Present benefit plans to new hires during orientation and facilitate their enrollment.
- Manage the annual open enrollment process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to team members by addressing benefit-related inquiries and resolving issues.
- Offer flexible support for additional HR projects, including:
- Hourly recruitment activities: application reviews, interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Regional support across various locations.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR benefits administration is required.
- At least 1 year of recruitment experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, and relevant federal and state regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within the US, not exceeding 3-6 trips per year.
