Key Responsibilities:

  • Control System Development: Design and execute control systems tailored for manufacturing operations, encompassing PLC programming and HMI development.
  • Automation Leadership: Spearhead automation initiatives from initial concept through to successful implementation, ensuring effective integration with current manufacturing setups.
  • Efficiency Enhancement: Evaluate manufacturing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and apply control strategies aimed at boosting production efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
  • Technical Support: Offer expert assistance in troubleshooting and maintaining control systems, aiming to minimize production downtime.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee various projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure control systems align with operational requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for control systems, including schematics, software code, and operational manuals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all control systems adhere to pertinent industry standards and safety regulations, including ISO 9001 and other relevant guidelines.
  • Continuous Development: Keep abreast of innovations in control systems and automation technologies to consistently enhance the manufacturing capabilities of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing controls, automation, or a similar position.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and control system design principles.
  • Experience with robotics, motion control, and vision systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations, including ISO 9001.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate control system challenges.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork.
