Key Responsibilities

  • Establish robotic workstations, incorporating single or multiple robotic units, Robot Transfer Units, Linear Slides, and additional seventh-axis equipment, along with supplementary systems.

  • Support start-up processes at client locations.
  • Ensure that quality, cost, and delivery targets for projects are achieved.
  • Adhere to project schedules and budgets while managing time effectively for optimal productivity.
  • Provide necessary information to facilitate the procurement of all robot-related components, entering data into the MRP system.
  • Capable of drafting technical documentation in English at an engineering level.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in robot programming, commissioning, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, and Motoman/Yaskawa is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend mechanism design, complex geometry dimensioning, measurement standards, and material specifications.
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or engineering technology, such as Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience in automated machine design, including press concepts, part transfer, pick and place, EOT, and robotics is essential for this role.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, proficiency in software, and efficiency are critical.
  • Understanding of a manufacturing environment, including engineering design procedures, and capability to train production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • A strong, self-motivated team player, eager to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to technical and job-related challenges.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
