Key Responsibilities:

  • Control System Development: Design and implement advanced control systems for production operations, including PLC programming and HMI development.
  • Automation Leadership: Oversee automation initiatives from inception to execution, ensuring effective integration with current production systems.
  • Efficiency Enhancement: Evaluate production workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and apply control strategies to boost operational efficiency, product quality, and safety.
  • Technical Support: Offer expert assistance for diagnosing and maintaining control systems, minimizing production interruptions.
  • Project Coordination: Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints while adhering to quality benchmarks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams including production, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure control systems align with operational requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for control systems, encompassing schematics, software code, and operational manuals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all control systems meet applicable industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Continuous Development: Keep abreast of innovations in control systems and automation technologies to perpetually enhance the manufacturing capabilities of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing controls, automation, or a similar position.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and control system architecture.
  • Familiarity with robotics, motion control, and vision systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting complex control system challenges.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
