Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Sales Consultant to effectively represent BD's extensive product offerings within the acute care sector.

This portfolio encompasses a range of Vascular Access Management solutions, including peripheral IV catheters, extended dwell PIVC, PICC lines, dialysis products, and ultrasound technologies.

The primary engagement points for this role will include the Vascular Access Team, Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency Departments (ED), Medical-Surgical units, Chief Nursing Officers (CNO), nursing staff, infection control teams, and Supply Chain professionals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieving and surpassing established sales targets.
  • Managing conversion opportunities from initial outreach through evaluation, product procurement, and in-service training.
  • Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Executing marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Implementing national and regional contractual agreements.
  • Providing regular performance reports.
  • Collaborating with local distributor branches servicing the designated territory.
  • Utilizing available sales support resources effectively.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in medical device sales or B2B sales is essential.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and comply with BD's auto safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and large account management skills are crucial.
  • Demonstrated successful sales history, strong negotiation abilities, and effective selling, listening, and presentation skills are required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Experience in managing internal and external budgets and resources, conducting pre-call planning, and prioritizing accounts is essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% is required.
