The Role
We are seeking a Marketing Campaign Manager to collaborate with our Global Events Department and take charge of developing and executing inbound marketing strategies aimed at broadening our audience reach and enhancing event attendance. This position will involve understanding the demographics of our events, primarily focusing on cybersecurity leaders and practitioners, crafting compelling content, storytelling, and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns to effectively position our brand and attract event participants. You will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of these marketing initiatives, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating and executing inbound marketing strategies for ISMG global events that resonate with targeted audience segments, resulting in increased event attendance.
  • Creating and managing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing (primary focus), social media, video, PPC/SEO, etc., to drive event registrations.
  • Implementing nurture campaign tactics to minimize attendance attrition (registered vs. attended).
  • Customizing and packaging promotional content for effective and engaging delivery through email and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborating with the graphic design team to oversee the production of creative assets that enhance brand recognition and marketing efforts.
  • Evaluating event campaign outcomes and optimizing strategies to improve performance and achieve desired results.
  • Presenting detailed campaign reports and performance analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI.
  • Supporting Event Sales teams in effectively positioning and securing event sponsorships by aligning audience engagement efforts and providing valuable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Events, Public Relations, Communications, or related fields.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Inbound Marketing/Event Marketing.
  • Proven experience in deploying and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of inbound digital marketing strategies, including SEO, keyword search, programmatic advertising, email marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Technical proficiency with digital marketing tools such as CRM systems, automation software, and databases (coding/HTML skills are a plus).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience in aligning creative content across various channels.
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools and experience in data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
