Position Title: Email Marketing Specialist - Campaign Management

Reporting To: Email & SMS Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing

Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Role Overview:

The Email Marketing Specialist - Campaign Management will assist in the strategic planning, execution, and analysis of all email and SMS marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Email & SMS Marketing Manager and various teams, this role aims to enhance engagement, efficiency, and profitability across our customer segments, particularly focusing on the Active demographic. This position will also be integral in refining our expanding SMS marketing efforts, partnering with technology vendors to boost revenue and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement email and SMS campaigns from ideation to execution, including post-campaign analysis and refinement.
  • Develop and enhance email content, scheduling, and audience segmentation strategies for routine and promotional communications.
  • Manage and oversee email workflows for all marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager and the Retention Marketing team to create unified promotional strategies across email and SMS channels.
  • Engage with the UK email marketing team to foster collaboration, share insights, and align on strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the design team to plan and produce campaign visuals, ensuring timely delivery of creative materials.
  • Work alongside the Email Marketing Assistant to draft and review emails, ensuring timely and accurate campaign execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform and innovate marketing approaches.
  • Monitor email and SMS deliverability and maintain list hygiene for optimal engagement.
  • Ensure all customer communications are compliant, relevant, and accurately reflect the brand, contributing positively to the customer journey.
  • Support additional retention marketing projects as directed by the Email Marketing Manager or the broader team.
  • Leverage data analytics and reporting to enhance future email and SMS campaigns.

  • Expand your expertise in email and SMS marketing processes, platforms, and best practices to drive channel effectiveness and revenue growth.
  • Innovate operational approaches to maximize output while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide actionable insights through testing and analysis to refine email and SMS marketing strategies.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in email marketing program development and execution; SMS marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to analyze campaign performance and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Familiarity with email marketing service providers; experience with Adobe Campaign is a plus.
  • Proficient in HTML.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data effectively.
  • Experience with SMS marketing platforms is a plus.
