About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our development team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing product development activities, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development Management: Oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product management, design, support, and other development teams to create innovative solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, often with limited information.
  • Resource Management: Manage departmental resources, including staffing, mentoring, and enhancing the skills of the engineering team.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in technologies relevant to ServiceNow.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced coding skills, experience with open source tools, and fluency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Shell, JavaScript).
  • Conceptual Understanding: Strong understanding of broad concepts and experience applying them to develop solutions for complex problems.
  • Project Execution: Ability to execute projects based on priorities, context, risks, and desired outcomes.
What We Offer
