Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Integration & Development Test Engineer to join our dynamic team within the aerospace sector. This position offers an opportunity to work with a reputable organization that has a long-standing history in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct environmental and electromagnetic interference testing for aircraft electrical power systems.
  2. Develop and evaluate test protocols and documentation for electrical power generation and distribution systems.
  3. Ensure compliance with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-461 standards in testing aerospace electrical power equipment.
  4. Create and assess test procedures for environmental and EMI evaluations on aircraft electrical systems.
  5. Design test fixtures to facilitate environmental and EMI assessments of aircraft components.

Essential Duties:

  1. Draft and review test procedures for environmental and EMI assessments, utilizing industry standards for new electrical power equipment designs.
  2. Design custom testing apparatus and schematics to ensure effective evaluation of aircraft electrical systems.
  3. Analyze and resolve various technical challenges related to EMI testing by interpreting test data and specifications.
  4. Support development testing and troubleshooting efforts using both custom and standard laboratory equipment.
  5. Prepare and communicate technical information to engineers, program staff, and clients.
  6. Collaborate effectively with team members and guide technicians in system integration and testing processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  2. A minimum of five years of engineering experience, with at least three years in the aerospace field.
  3. Proficient in integrating and testing aircraft electrical power distribution systems.
  4. Experience with serial data buses, avionics, and FAA certification testing.
  5. Familiarity with electrical wiring standards for aircraft and testing equipment.
  6. Competence in using PC-controlled testing devices and data logging equipment.
  7. Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  1. Must be a US Person under ITAR regulations.
  2. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screening.
