We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager to play a key role in our organization. This position will oversee operations across the Southeast and Seaboard States, with a designated home office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop all Field Service Technicians (FST) and associated personnel.
- Foster a robust culture focused on accountability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide direction and support to the technical team, encouraging their professional advancement.
- Ensure FSTs are equipped with the necessary inventories, documentation, tools, specialized equipment, and vehicles to effectively perform their duties.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with fellow Regional Service Managers and peers. Conduct regular meetings with teams and upper management to discuss performance and strategic planning.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate van inventory counts for designated regions.
- Collaborate with Regional Project Managers to implement and deliver projects as required.
- Engage with RPM/VPM on large-scale projects necessitating Service associates' involvement.
- Take charge of regional profitability, revenue generation, operating profit, inventory management, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee service delivery for annual service contract revenue within the assigned region.
- Ensure precision in Autotask, our internal ticketing system, for financial oversight and reporting.
- Manage and regulate overtime, direct labor expenses, time and materials activities, and inventories to align with Field Service and corporate objectives.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing technical teams and supporting IT environments.
- Familiarity with parking equipment and the industry is advantageous. Relevant industry experience is crucial.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct management experience with field service personnel.
- Willingness to travel for technician and customer meetings, potentially up to 40% as required for customer interactions, technical visits, and meetings.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating a strong customer-focused culture.
