Job Summary

The In House Sales Manager will be responsible for supervising the total sales effort of the resort's timeshare sales and upgrades, supervision of sales related personnel, implementation of sales strategies to maximize profits of the resort while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate morning sales meetings to ensure a cohesive and productive sales team.
  • Train Sales Managers to enhance their skills and knowledge in sales strategies and customer service.
  • Supervise the sales floor, coordinating the Guest Service Representatives and Sales Managers to ensure seamless customer interactions.
  • Pitch and sell Westgate Resorts to prospective buyers in order to sell and upgrade weeks, focusing on providing excellent customer service and meeting or surpassing profit plans.
  • Supervise assigned sales staff, including hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and development to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Maintain liaison with other resort-level departments to facilitate customer service and maximize sales efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff, ensuring a positive and enriching work environment.
  • Enforce sales-related policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and efficient sales process.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise all sales center staff, including the ability to discipline and make decisions regarding hiring and firing, as well as input on performance evaluations and staff development.

Education and/or Experience

Timeshare sales experience and management experience as determined by Executive Director of Sales.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
