Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the comprehensive sales operations of the resort's timeshare offerings and upgrades. This includes managing sales personnel, executing sales strategies to enhance profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct morning sales meetings.
  • Train and mentor Sales Managers.
  • Supervise the sales floor, coordinating efforts with Guest Service Representatives and Sales Managers.
  • Present and promote Westgate Resorts to potential buyers to facilitate sales and upgrades.
Staff Management

Oversee assigned sales staff, including hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and professional development.

Maintain effective communication with other resort departments to enhance customer service and optimize sales efforts.

Deliver exceptional customer service to both guests and staff while enforcing sales-related policies and procedures.

Ensure that sales activities meet or exceed profit targets.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage all sales center personnel, with the authority to recommend disciplinary actions and provide input on hiring and firing decisions. Evaluate staff performance and their interactions with sales representatives and customers.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Experience in timeshare sales and management as determined by the Executive Director of Sales.
  • Strong language skills to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Capability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
