Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planner to join our team at dentsu. As a Media Planner, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our clients' media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in the creation of client media communication plan goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plans, and results analysis
  • Contribute to all communication opportunities relevant to assigned brand or category
  • Write POVs and evaluate new media types and outlets
  • Support Communications Planning Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information
  • Compile reports of competitive market and media information for each brand or category
  • Support ACPD/CPS as a facilitating contact point for client's internal media staff and the primary contact point to client's brand staff when media issues are discussed

Client & Internal Relationships

  • Manage daily client interaction, expectations, and deliverables
  • Assist Supervisor in advising clients on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
  • Assist Supervisor in growing business opportunities within current clients
  • May inform client and team of new opportunities or issues
  • Participate and lead, if appropriate, face-to-face client and vendor meetings
  • Build relationships with internal and external teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0+ years of experience and familiarity with the media process
  • Experience in a media planning internship, or familiarity with industry platform tools like Lumina and Tableau a plus
  • Interest and familiarity with Media planning
