About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to support the North America Marketing team at Tenneco. This role will be responsible for managing events and day-to-day marketing operations to support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and execute DRiV events, including customer-specific shows, industry conferences, and trade shows, as well as internal corporate events.
  • Brand Awareness and Messaging: Support the awareness of DRiV brands, new products, and initiatives by incorporating organizational messaging and identity into events.
  • Event Logistics and Coordination: Conceptualize event themes, design, plan logistics, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Inventory Management and Distribution: Maintain inventory and process of owned Event Marketing Assets and their distribution.
  • Event Budgeting and Scheduling: Ensure events are executed within budget and on schedule.
  • Day-to-Day Marketing Operations: Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including marketing material fulfillment and leveraging technology to support internal team members.
  • Digital Marketing Communication: Designated company expert and admin behind Digital Marketing Communication platform (Showpad) maintaining consistent and up-to-date sales support materials and updates to internal teams across the organization.
  • Vendor Relationships and Process Improvement: Maintain relationships with vendors and proactively seek improvements to process.
  • Project Spend Tracking: Monitor and track all project spend to budgets.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS degree
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and/or event planning; prior event planning experience required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; able to communicate and coordinate with senior leaders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, problem solver; able to work as part of a dynamic team. Self-driven person who can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel Requirements

Up to 10% travel required to support necessary events.
