Position Overview:

We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Event Management Specialist to oversee and implement all organizational and community events. The successful candidate will be tasked with orchestrating internal gatherings, such as employee meetings and training sessions featuring industry experts, as well as identifying and coordinating involvement in community initiatives for outreach and health assessments.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Event Organization & Implementation:
    • Design, coordinate, and execute corporate events, including staff assemblies, training workshops, and informative seminars.
    • Identify and secure industry experts to speak at corporate events.
    • Oversee all logistical components of events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Community Outreach:
    • Investigate and identify community events that resonate with Revival Research Institute's mission and values.
    • Plan and execute promotional initiatives and health assessments at community events.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with community organizations and event coordinators.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all activities are conducted within financial constraints.
    • Negotiate agreements with vendors and service providers to maximize cost efficiency.
  • Marketing & Public Relations:
    • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including digital platforms, email communications, and press announcements.
    • Create and distribute event-related materials, such as invitations, schedules, and informational pamphlets.
  • Post-Event Evaluation:
    • Collect and assess feedback from participants or staff to evaluate event effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Compile post-event reports and present insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within the healthcare or clinical research sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for event coordination.
