Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Event Management Specialist to oversee and implement all organizational and community-related events. The successful candidate will be tasked with orchestrating internal gatherings, such as team meetings and training sessions featuring industry experts, as well as identifying and managing participation in community events for outreach and health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution:
    • Design, coordinate, and implement corporate events, including team meetings, training programs, and educational workshops.
    • Identify and secure industry experts as guest speakers for internal events.
    • Oversee all logistical elements of events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Investigate and pinpoint community events that resonate with the mission and values of Revival Research Institute.
    • Organize promotional activities and health screenings at community events.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations and event coordinators.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create and oversee event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
    • Negotiate agreements with vendors and service providers to maximize cost efficiency.
  • Marketing & Communication:
    • Work alongside the marketing team to publicize events through various platforms, including digital marketing and press releases.
    • Develop and distribute event-related materials, such as invitations, schedules, and informational pamphlets.
  • Post-Event Activities:
    • Collect and evaluate feedback from participants to assess event effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
    • Compile post-event reports and present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within the healthcare or clinical research sectors.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for event coordination.
