Amazon Web Services is on the lookout for a skilled field marketing professional to implement our marketing initiatives for the Auto & Manufacturing sector.

This role presents a unique chance to influence a rapidly expanding segment within the vibrant cloud and SaaS landscape.

The Field Marketing Manager for Auto / Manufacturing will collaborate closely with sales leaders to enhance business growth and identify innovative ways for companies to leverage AWS services.

Your responsibilities will include gathering market intelligence and customer insights to inform and execute the marketing strategy tailored for Auto / Manufacturing clients.

You will prioritize key focus areas and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact, develop comprehensive marketing plans across multiple channels, and adopt a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Collaboration with various teams and agencies will be essential. The ideal candidate will exhibit a results-oriented mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish mechanisms for collecting market and customer insights to guide business strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and stakeholders to craft and implement a distinctive marketing strategy for AWS.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing plans by coordinating with teams and utilizing shared services and agencies as required.
  • Create tailored, high-value customer experiences that align with customer needs throughout their buying journey.
  • Innovate and propose new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize existing materials and campaigns, encouraging customer participation in broader initiatives.
  • Work alongside other marketing teams to provide necessary messaging, assets, and campaign deliverables to support marketing efforts and address customer challenges.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports and metrics on campaign performance, effectiveness, and ROI, using data to make timely adjustments and identify trends.
  • Share plans and campaign strategies with team members to promote best practices.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is dedicated to driving revenue and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprises, including public sector clients.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional marketing experience
- Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau
- Proven track record in managing multiple marketing campaigns
- Experience working within cross-functional marketing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing multi-territory campaigns
- Background in digital marketing and content production processes.
