Amazon Web Services is on the lookout for a skilled field marketing professional to implement our marketing initiatives tailored for the Auto & Manufacturing sector.

This role presents a remarkable chance to influence a rapidly expanding segment within the vibrant cloud and SaaS industry.

The Field Marketing Manager for Auto / Manufacturing will collaborate closely with sales leaders to not only enhance business growth but also identify opportunities to transform how companies leverage AWS services.

Your responsibilities will include collecting market and customer insights to inform the marketing strategy for our Auto / Manufacturing clientele.

You will focus on prioritizing key areas and resources to maximize impact, develop comprehensive marketing plans across multiple channels, and employ a data-driven methodology for decision-making.

Collaboration with various teams and agencies will be essential. The ideal candidate will embody a results-oriented mindset and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish mechanisms for gathering market and customer insights to guide business strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and stakeholders to create and implement a distinctive marketing strategy for AWS.
  • Oversee the execution of the marketing plan by leveraging team resources and external agencies as necessary.
  • Enhance customer experiences by focusing on their needs throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Innovate and propose new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Identify ways to utilize existing materials and campaigns, encouraging customer participation in broader initiatives.
  • Work with other marketing teams to deliver essential messaging and campaign materials that address customer challenges.
  • Provide detailed reports and metrics on campaign performance, using data to make timely adjustments and identify trends.
  • Share marketing plans and tactics with team members to promote best practices.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 30% as needed.

The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is dedicated to driving revenue and growth from a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprises, including public sector clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics for improvement.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience working within cross-functional marketing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing multi-territory campaigns.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and content production processes.
