About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist II to join our team at the Health and Human Services Commission. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine, journey-level work in one or more building maintenance and construction trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, adjustments, maintenance, and repair work on building systems in accordance with recognized codes and standards.
  • Use hand tools or equipment while performing repairs or inspections.
  • Follow directions in performance of duties.
  • Perform repairs and renovations to modernize a building, building system, or adapt it to new uses.
Requirements
  • Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift, and/or overtime.
  • May serve in an on-call status on a rotating schedule as required to meet operational needs of the facility.
