Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to provide administrative support to departmental physicians, supervisors, and managers. The ideal candidate will have 6 months+ of medical experience in an administrative physician office setting and possess basic computer skills, including data entry, Word, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to departmental physicians, supervisors, and managers
  • Direct patients, families, and visitors to appropriate medical treatment areas
  • Assist with distributing reports, records, and messages while maintaining patient and clinic confidentiality
  • Maintain on-site presence during business hours
  • Comply with Micro MD and BSO departmental billing functions
  • Post patient charges and payments
  • Assist Manager in coordinating, reviewing, and preparing clinic charts for patient appointments
  • Maintain the office in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6 months+ of medical experience in an administrative physician office setting
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Tact and skill in patient management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
