Liability Claims Specialist

Job Overview:
The role involves a proactive approach to investigating, assessing, and negotiating the resolution of assigned Liability claims, specifically within the Mid-Corp and Corporate sectors. The successful candidate will adhere to established best practices while ensuring claims are managed within the designated autonomy limits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient claims processing within the team while collaborating with third-party service providers to achieve cost-effective results.
- Deliver high-quality service to all internal and external partners.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in claims analysis, insurance regulations, and case law.
- Experience in litigation, mediation, and arbitration processes.
- Ability to identify financial risk factors effectively.
Qualifications:
- A proven history of managing Liability claims with non-complex coverage and damage matters.
- Comprehensive understanding of the claims handling process.
- Established relationships with brokers at a peer level and a strong presence in the local market.
- In-depth knowledge of regional insurance markets and competitive landscape.
- Multi-lingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
