Position Overview:
MV Transportation is on the lookout for a dedicated Liability Claims Analyst who will assist the Liability Claims Program Manager and the Director of Liability Claims. This position is crucial in supporting the risk management team through various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of Liability Claims and will be responsible for:

  • Processing incoming mail by opening, stamping, reviewing, and assigning it to the correct claim folders.
  • Reporting claims to insurance providers when necessary.
  • Responding to inquiries from Third Party Administrators (TPAs) regarding claim intake.
  • Downloading relevant video evidence and organizing it within the appropriate claim folders.
  • Managing phone calls and voicemails, ensuring proper direction to the relevant personnel.
  • Collecting and uploading contracts to designated folders.
  • Maintaining the Claims-Missing Documents Reports to ensure all necessary documents are accounted for.
  • Requesting police and accident reports as needed.
  • Setting up and managing new claims intake.
  • Collaborating with the Safety department for data collection.
  • Assisting in gathering documents required for discovery responses.
  • Organizing and maintaining the integrity of claims folders.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in supporting a TPA claims team.
  • A current liability adjuster license is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certifications such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) are highly regarded.
