Responsibilities

The Senior Liability Claims Adjuster is tasked with conducting thorough investigations and adjusting commercial general liability and auto claims that may exceed policy limits. The Adjuster is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing large and catastrophic claims
  • Investigating incidents and identifying coverage concerns
  • Determining coverage applicability
  • Collecting and reviewing evidence, reports, and medical documentation
  • Establishing damages and reserves
  • Processing payments
  • Taking statements from insured parties, claimants, and witnesses

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in handling liability claims
  • At least 5 years of experience with catastrophic claims
  • Bachelor's degree; Attorney license is a plus
  • Strong understanding of coverage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to travel for hearings, mediations, trials, and conferences.
