The primary responsibility of this role is to thoroughly investigate, assess, and negotiate the resolution of assigned Liability claims, specifically within the Mid-Corp and Corporate sectors. This is to be done in alignment with established best practices while ensuring that claims are managed within the limits of granted autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain productive relationships with brokers, clients, and internal business partners.
  • Ensure efficient claims management within the team while collaborating with third-party service providers to achieve cost-effective results.
  • Deliver high-quality service to all internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in claims analysis, regulations, and case law.
  • Experienced in litigation, mediation, and arbitration processes.
  • Strong understanding of the claims handling process.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A proven history of managing Liability claims with non-complex coverage and damage issues.
  • Ability to identify financial risk points effectively.
  • Established relationships with brokers at a peer level and a solid presence in the local market.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regional/local Lines of Business (LoB) insurance markets and competitive landscape.
  • Multi-lingual capabilities are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
