Construction Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Alta Equipment Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction equipment maintenance and repair facility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team of Technicians: Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Delegate Tasks Effectively: Manage workload distribution and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee Equipment Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and develop appropriate repair plans.
- Enforce Safety Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Implement Quality Control Measures: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct Post-Repair Inspections: Verify the effectiveness of work done and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance history, repairs performed, and parts usage.
- Generate Reports: Provide reports on equipment status, repair costs, and operational efficiency to support decision-making processes.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction equipment industry, with a strong understanding of equipment mechanics and repair techniques.
- Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of various construction equipment types and their components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Leadership Skills: Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of technicians.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software tools for inventory management and reporting.
- Certification or Training: Certification or training in equipment maintenance and repair, such as ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training programs, is preferred.
