Electrum (formerly Pick My Solar) is in search of a Lead Product Strategist to oversee a product suite that is essential to our home electrification marketplace. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to create and sustain exceptional user, partner, and customer experiences. This position is ideal for product managers with a strong technical background who are eager to spearhead the development of products, including applications that enhance sales processes, tools utilized by partners, and integrations with third-party data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and guide the roadmap for Electrum's vital sales and fulfillment platform, incorporating integrations with a network of internal and external data and applications.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) for your users, including our sales and fulfillment teams, installer partners, channel partners, and customers.
  • Provide clear and informed recommendations while collaborating with key stakeholders and senior leadership to shape and continuously refine the vision and strategy for your products and platform, aligning with the objectives of each business line.
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the business logic underpinning your platform's automations and workflows.
  • Articulate business and product vision and requirements to effectively communicate the rationale behind decisions.
  • Draft detailed functional requirements for cross-functional teams to facilitate effective execution.
  • Organize and conduct end-user acceptance testing to validate new features and functionalities.
  • Work alongside engineering partners to optimize workstreams, processes, and priorities to efficiently address the team's backlog, balancing business needs with technological capabilities.
  • Update stakeholders on product and project status with appropriate detail and timeliness.
  • Empower users with the necessary knowledge and training to utilize your products effectively.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product and platform.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, focusing on data-driven, workflow-oriented products and platforms. Experience in identifying and developing workflow automations is advantageous.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams to establish and communicate product goals, roadmaps, priorities, requirements, and metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and model complex calculations.
  • Experience working within agile product development frameworks, adapting to evolving product and business needs.
  • A willingness and capability to extend beyond a traditional PM role, often found in a tech startup environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with the organizational ability to advance multiple initiatives effectively and simultaneously.
  • Experience considering immediate and future scalability and operational needs when defining and prioritizing your roadmap and requirements.
  • Flexibility in working hours to facilitate collaboration with international teammates.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as software engineering.
